Lay the chain on the ground and make sure that it is not tangled in any way.
Pas the cable behind the wheel from the left side of the tire to the right side. The yellow end should be on the left side of the tire.
Lift the cable ends to the top of the tire connecting the (2) ends together. Lay connected ends on the top of the tire.
Connect the outer side chain together. This has (3) adjusting links, so the link you choose will depend on the tire.
Push the cable to the back side of the tire. The cross chain should be centered on the tire.
At the bottom of the tire, run the yellow tension chain through the locking device as shown in photo.
Pull the tension chain as tight as possible towards the direction it came from.
After pulling as tight as possible, weave the excess tension chain in & out of the blue side chain until you can connect rubber end into side chain.
Note: The excess tension chain only needs to be snug enough to keep from flapping around. Do not put too much pressure on rubber connector or it will break.
To Dismount Chain
It will be easier to remove chain if you have the chain in the same position that you installed (connectors at the top, tension chain at the bottom).
Undo excess tension chain from side chain.
Pull tension chain back through locking system.
Disconnect outer side chain at the top of tire (do not let chian fall behind tire).
Disconnect cable ends and let chain fall to the ground.
Drive off of chains and return them to carrying bag.
